These Terms govern purchases and use of the RESOLVED marketplace, operated by Will Byrne, trading as RESOLVED (“RESOLVED,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

1. About the marketplace
RESOLVED offers digital creative products, including presets, transitions, titles, motion graphics, sound effects, project files, plugins, and software licenses.
Our catalog includes products created by RESOLVED and independent creators. Unless expressly stated otherwise before purchase, your purchase transaction is with RESOLVED. Product ownership remains with the applicable creator or rights holder.
These Terms govern customer purchases. Separate agreements govern creators selling through the marketplace.
2. Product descriptions and compatibility
Before purchasing, review the product description, supported software versions, operating systems, hardware requirements, license options, and any third-party dependencies.
Some products require DaVinci Resolve Studio, additional software, or a specific software version. Compatibility varies by product. Support for future software releases, other operating systems, or unlisted applications is not guaranteed unless expressly promised.
We aim to provide accurate descriptions. If a product does not work with a configuration we expressly list as supported, contact us for assistance. Nothing in this section limits your rights concerning inaccurate descriptions or defective products.
Demo footage, music, fonts, and other presentation assets are included only when the product listing expressly says so.
3. Licenses and permitted use
Digital products are licensed, not sold. Purchasing a product does not transfer its copyright or other intellectual property rights.
Where a product has a specific license or end-user license agreement, that license will be made available before purchase and governs use of that product. It takes priority over the default license below where the provisions differ, subject to applicable law.
Default license: Unless a product-specific license states otherwise, your purchase grants one individual a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use and modify the product in unlimited personal and commercial finished projects, including client work, advertisements, films, and social media content, for the purchased license term.
You may deliver finished rendered work to clients. You may not distribute the underlying presets, project files, source assets, or license keys to clients or collaborators unless the applicable license permits it. Additional users require their own licenses unless a team license is included.

4. Orders, prices, and payments
The applicable price, currency, license option, and taxes are shown before you submit your order. You are responsible for providing accurate billing and delivery information and using an authorized payment method.
If we discover a material pricing or listing error affecting your order, we will contact you. We will not charge an increased amount without your agreement. If we cancel an order because of an error or inability to supply it, we will refund the amount paid for the affected product.
5. Digital delivery and activation
Products are delivered electronically through download links, license keys, activation instructions, or another method described in the listing and order confirmation. No physical item is shipped unless explicitly stated.
Delivery timing and any activation requirements will be disclosed before purchase. If your download or activation information does not arrive within the stated timeframe, contact support@resolvedtools.com with your order number.
Keep a backup of downloaded files and purchase records. Unless expressly promised, a perpetual license does not include permanent download hosting, unlimited support, or every future major upgrade. This does not reduce any delivery, access, or update commitment made when you purchased.
6. Perpetual licenses, rentals, and subscriptions
The selected license determines your access:
Not every annual license renews automatically. Where automatic renewal applies, the checkout will disclose the billing amount, frequency, renewal terms, and cancellation method, and obtain your consent before enrollment.
Cancellation stops future renewals. Access ordinarily continues until the end of the paid period, unless the disclosed terms or applicable law provide otherwise. Refund rights are addressed below.
Product-specific terms govern whether exported work may continue to be used after a rental or subscription ends.
7. Refunds and cancellation rights
Because these products are digital, we generally do not offer change-of-mind refunds after downloads or license information have been supplied, except where required by law or expressly offered in the product listing.
If a product is not delivered, is defective, or materially differs from its description, contact support@resolvedtools.com with your order number and a description of the issue. We will investigate and provide the remedy required by applicable law, which may include assistance, a corrected download, replacement, price reduction, or refund.
Any statutory cancellation or withdrawal rights remain available unless they have been validly waived or otherwise ended under applicable law. Where immediate digital delivery requires separate consent and acknowledgment concerning cancellation rights, we will request those before delivery.
Nothing in these Terms excludes mandatory consumer rights.
8. Support and updates
Contact RESOLVED for payment, order, download, and marketplace questions. Technical support may be provided by RESOLVED, the product creator, or both, as identified in the listing or delivery instructions.
Updates, new versions, additional content, and support periods are included only to the extent stated when you purchase or required by law.
9. Acceptable use
You must not use the marketplace for fraud, infringement, unlawful activity, unauthorized access, or interference with its operation.
We may restrict marketplace access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security threats, or a material breach of these Terms. Restrictions will not automatically cancel valid purchased licenses or remove rights you retain under applicable law.
10. Intellectual property and third-party services
Marketplace content and products belong to RESOLVED or their respective owners. No rights are granted except those expressly provided by the applicable license.
Third-party applications, activation services, and external websites may have their own terms and privacy practices. Their involvement does not remove any responsibility RESOLVED has under applicable law.
RESOLVED is independent of and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Blackmagic Design. DaVinci Resolve and other referenced trademarks belong to their respective owners.
11. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share personal information, including information processed for payments, delivery, support, and product activation.
12. Responsibility and limitations
We do not promise that every product will suit every creative purpose or work with configurations outside its stated requirements. Maintain backups before modifying important projects.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the marketplace or products.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud or rights and remedies protected by applicable consumer law.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms and will publish the revised effective date. Material changes will be communicated where required.
Changes will not retroactively reduce licenses or purchase rights already granted. Existing orders remain subject to the terms agreed at purchase, except where a change is required by law or separately agreed.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of California, USA, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available under applicable law.
Contact support@resolvedtools.com first so we can try to resolve a concern. This does not prevent you from exercising statutory remedies or bringing a claim in a court available to you under applicable law.
